Visiting Gusti and Doris. This is a picture of their daughter, Erika, with her husband Rolf.

Pictures from Heidi's balcony.

A copper plate of Nuertingen around 1600.

Sue, Gusti, Doris, Heidi, and Joerg.

The grape vine up to the balcony. Apparently, this is one of the ways the cats get in and out.

Driving to Inge's. Inge took us on a quick tour of some towns at the edge of the Black Forest.

First on the stop: Calw.

We stopped for coffee in Calw, and I took a picture of us looking at the marzipan. If you look carefully, you'll see me, Sue, and Inge in the reflection.

Then Inge drove us to Zavelstein, to see the castle ruins.

Lastly, she drove us to a Spa, whose name we've forgotten. In English, the name of the hotel is very funny. In German, it's just "the Spa's Hotel."

We went back to Inge's for dessert. The timed picture feature of the camera worked well!

Two pictures of Sue's mother out of a photo album that Inge had.

These three are pictures that Inge didn't realize I was taking. Inge, in her natural habitat.
